Default Need port help, tunings way off

Do I go by physical port length or just regular port length?!?! Torres gives the physical port length and then just port length, what do I cut my wood to?!

I want to achieve 32hz tuning

I have 1 common port wall, but I'd I extend it, ill have 3 all together (my design will make it so when it bends it will be in contact with my rear wall and a the part of my box where my two subs "indent" into the box to mount) (view pic below)

My box is 4.54 cubes after sub displacement and bracing, my port is 11" x 4.9" and is currently 18.25 inches long, so I think I'm tuned at 38hz right?
Should my port length be 11" wide, 4.9" tall, and should be 40" long (gives me 34.5" of physical length) so do I do 34.5" port or 40" port?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, but I decided since I had some free time I'd double check everything, and it was off by quite a bit so I just started a new thread asking the Q :/

And not be rude or add salt to wounds but....
We just discussed this in a thread for a couple days, so I know it can not be that hard to find in the forum, I even put pictures up that illustrated the difference between the port lengths in Torres.

I found the pictures I posted in under a min on google by searching physical port length vs actual port length, And then I read some stuff and looked at some pictures. It was great, I learned something on my own, seems like you did not search the forum or google

NO hard feeling, I like the box! and hope it works out for you but that is why no one is responding to you it not because we don't like you, it is because you're not even trying.

Last time aske this I researched it for hours, I understand stand all that to a point, the difference is 6.5 " and it's throwing me off, but I guess I'll search more now,

Lol, better to second guess and re-check so you can say you know for sure.

Here ya go, it had kind of fallen back in the forum and has some other things discussed in it which might have made it hard to find through the search.

Conflicting calculators

Now that is going to cost ya $50,000.00 for the KOB install on that there link. Does a 190 pants down.

No prob if you still got question, I will try to help. it is all For the Love of Bass

I would do what you are talking about and extend the port down the back wall.

You could make the pieces as long as possible, maintain proper port clearance from the bottom of the box of coarse.
Put them in with screws and test it, then cut it back to the next tuning length and see how it does. Keep trying to it is perfect or you are happy with it, then make it permanent.
