OK so hypothetically speaking of course.
If I was to not "ditch" the rear seats but fold them down and put a sub box behind the drivers seat, I could then have the amps and batts behind the box and in turn opening up the entire rear of the car. So instead of using my rear seats as the trunk, I would actually have most of my trunk back.
Car is an 05 Outback wagon.
Right now this is the setup.
What if I built a box, slid it over where the seats would fold down and had the subs fire forward? I could then have the room to use a slot port, or use the Aero's and have them fire straight down in between the two seats which would be sick as well.
But I don't want a wall. So I don't know if that works? Does that type of setup get loud or does it have to basically be a wall for the subs to fire forwards and work?
I really would LOVE the subs firing into the back of the seats, I think that would be awesome but I keep being told its a no go?
