ok so i know this is kinda a old school method, but just thinking about it tonight,i am gonna try to incorporate this, when doing a ported wall and or bandpass, say you have 24" from the rear wall of the enclosure to the inside wall of the port. so 1/4 wave says, 2 feet x 4= 8 and 1132/8 = 141.5
so our rear wave is 141.5 the octave down would be 70.75 and the octave below that would be 35. so if your
so we would want our front wave to match the first wave length or the othe octave wave lengths? would the lower octave wave lengths be the same as the original 1/4 wave?
maybe someone a little more versed in this can chime in and throw down some info.
so pretty much i would wanna tune the enclosure to the 1/4 of one of the octaves?
say my 1/4 wave is 65 i would wanna tune to 65 or 32
