Default Best port/sub configuration in an extended cab?

Ive never messed with an extended cab truck before, but about to put a system in one. Its an 02 ram 2500. Going to be removing the rear seats for the box. Its a buddies truck, he said it has about 18x26x54 for space. We were thinkin three 15's but after he gave me measurements I don't think there will be quite enough space.

The power will be an aq3500. was thinking of three hdc3 15's at first. Might have to drop it down to two 15's, hopefully they take the aq3500 well if it comes down to that.

Mostly I am wondering what works best for sub and port configuration in a truck like this. I was assuming subs firing up. port either firing up or to the front but really have no idea.. does anyone have any experience with the same truck? If not I am sure what works best in most extended cabs would be real similar to this. Oh ya and both doors in the back open up

EDIT also if anyone knows what the new hdc3's like for box that would be nice. I am trying to search for that right now but if anyone knows off hand that would be great.

I got extended cab Silverado. I run subs up port up. For 2 ab xfls on a bc2k it gets down enough to get some light hair moving a little. Nothing crazy. Taken apart atm or I'd give u a vid.

You can definitely fit 3. You might have to sacrifice some seat lean for it though.
