Default 4th or 6th order?

I'm wanting to build a 6th order series bandpass box that is musical from 30hz-70hz for my girls ride. Reason for this is that the only place a ported box sounds good is almost up against the trunk facing rear. I wanna do a small blow though the rear seats. She listens to rap, pop, rock.

Subs I got for her are:
2 -12" American Bass DX
http://www.americanbassusa.com/produ.../product_id/22

I'm looking at doing 3 ft rear chamber tuned to 35hz and front chamber 3ft tuned to 65hz. so 1:1 ratio

any opinions?

thanks for the reply....

What would you suggest?

I have 18"x 40"x 20" to work with.

I'm not going for loud as possible. just so i can use the area behind the seats, not up against the truck.

would a 1:1 ratio 4th bp better choice? or move the rear to 4 cubes and front to 2 cubes for the 6th?

Thanks for any help guys.

Doing 1 cube per sub rear will leave your Frc at around 55-56hz so your sealed box will be more of a higher frequency responding box. Neither one of these look like a great option here. I'd do a 6th if you had more space for sure.

sounds horrible against the rear seat facing forward or back or up. Its literally less than half the output of it facing rear and closest to the rear bumper.

A single 12 maybe a single 15 or 2 10" in that trunk in a 6th might work better for you
