Default Enclosure for two SA-15's

The first picture shows the 3D view of the box. This is a 7.41 ft^3 common chamber, single slotted port box with the Torres calcs below as well. This is to be for two SA-15's. Opinions? This is my first attempt at a design so constructive criticism is appreciated.

That will be a total pain to build. What's it going in? If an suv subs up port back.

It's going in a 2008 dodge ram 2500 quad cab in the back seat. Not replacing the seat, but flipping it up.

is that 7.41 gross or net? if net, you could stand to shrink it to ~6 cu ft and make a more simple to build enclosure. what is the space you have available? seems a rather odd shape

It is an odd shape. It's going in the back seat of my truck. I figured if I had to look at it, I I'd rather not just look at a box but something a little more stylish.

looks good. double check everything and then build it.

note: other designs.. such as down firing the subs... with the port firing to the passenger side.. could load better into your truck and make it a monster which sounds and feels about four times as loud.

I've been told my port area is too small. Sonic, thanks for the heads up. I like the idea. When you say down firing, you mean down at the floor of the cab right?

what is your port area? youll want to get it around 80-100 sq inches or so.
and yes unless im also mis interpreting what hes saying then down firing is facing the subs at the floor of the truck

This drawing is showing only 28 square inches. I've since changed the design so the port is 90 square inches and I added 1.5" of height at the base to account for the port displacement inside the box.
