Default 4th Order Blowthrough Help

My plan hopefully at the end of the year (christmas break from classes), to do a blow through in my truck and just add 1 more HDC3 15.

The hard part for me is mainly figuring out how to properly tune it. Do you just tune the ported side, or is the tuning a mix of the sealed section with the ported section. This is where my ignorance mainly falls.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Equipment:

4 HDC3 15's (copper coils)

Something 6-8krms

Was going to do 2 per sealed, 14-16 ported.

well then i might have to try a 6th. But the deal with the 4th, if they would really be that bad, i would just sell them and swap to 2 18s that like sealed and do a 4th with 2 18s on 6-8k. Want it to be a demo machine rather than making it for numbers. Numbers are fun, crushing 20-45hz is what i love.

edit: and the thing is, i have an idea of a sort with 4ths, but no clue with 6ths. Meaning ratios, rear port tuning/size vs front port tuning/size, etc.

Trust me, they'll be depressing in a 4th... id do 1 6" port per pair of 15s...I did 1 4" per 12, worked out awesome
