Default XFL 12s 6th order.

So i've just started messing with sketchup and started thinking about some different designs with my available dimensions which are about 32"Wx28Dx15H. id say about 32D if Height is down to 13.5 or 14.

i have never tried tuning a 6th order or even know if these subs will work well in them. What i did on sketchup was just a practice using the program trying to design a clam shell type set up and it kinda became a 6th order but dimensions, ports and tuning is not right but just an idea.

Again, this is just a rough design just messing with the program so any suggestions on if these subs work well in this kind of box or not and some help with a design. this is in a 2008 impala and will be sealed from the trunk.
lol btw this is 70 hz into 110hz for teh tuning

i didnt do any tuning at the time i was just messing around on sketch up for the first time and started thinking about a "clamshell" design and it kinda came to this but im really trying to find out if those subs would even do well in a box like this (or maybe a 4th order) and what should tuning be like on such.

then you have to remember on the rear section port area will be considerably lower.... usually half at times.

Most 6th orders i seen were that way (front port much bigger). The problem i see with doing this is getting enough cubes for each sub and on that particular mock up of a box in my first post, front and back chamber are about same size.

so did a lot more reading on how to design 6th orders and punched some stuff in winisd and this is what i come up with.
Purple-6th order idea
Red-Current ported box

How does this seem to look for a 6th order? does that seem about right or no? this would be sealed off from trunk in 2008 impala.

From the dimensions you posted up you have about 6.31 cubes net before sub and port displacement, to me that is not near enough for a 6th order since generally you want 1:2 ratio. I know my 6th order for 2 atomic apx 12's is 4 cubes net rear and 8 cubes net front after all displacements. Also from experience with American bass subs they usually like an enclosure on the larger side. You might want to go with a standard ported enclosure or possibly a 4th if they are 4th friendly.

xfls are very 4th order friendly.. look at randen's (i think its his name) with the 12 15s and a buncha others too
i also 2nd the motion that you aint got enough room for a proper 6th order..
youd prolly still want 3.5 4 cubes sealed and 8 ported or so
