im certainly not a guru ... but i have been reading every stinkin thing i could find between this site and others on 4th orders ...

my question to you is what is your goal ? your dimensions are a bit small for 4 15s so your sealed/ported ratio would be pretty small ... maybe around a 2-2.2:1 in turn giving you a wider bandwith but less efficiency ...

i just completed a 2.8:1 for two zv4 12's (my first 4th) and this thing moves more air than a back pack leaf blower haha

I could go to like 40/44 deep. Just have to shrink height by maybe an inch or so.

my suggestion ... although im just starting to build and test myself ... would be to use all available space to get the ratio up ... hack seems to have alot of faith in the 3:1 ratio range and considering the numbers his builds have thrown up, i would say its a good starting ratio haha

You don't have to have a big ratio for it to play properly. Are you chasing numbers? Because numbers don't perfectly equate to audible loudness playing music, nor to how well it sounds.

I feel a lot of people build 4ths and really have no idea what they are doing. Or building a box that doesn't 100% make sense for their goals.

Jt. I'm building it to play low, musical daily music. Lol
If it meters well so be it, but I swear when I had a setup do a 144 @21hz I enjoyed that more then high 150's in the 40hz and above ..
