Default simple port question

i have no idea what the actual names of these designs are because i am new to the whole box building scene. ive ran all of my numbers correctly and decided to tune to 33hz as this is a good note for my tantric hdd.

which of these designs would you guys recommend for better lows and where should the sub be placed (left, middle, or right)? this box is front loaded because i will have it in my trunk, sealed off, and both the speaker and port will be firing into the cab

thanks in advance

the port will be on the driver side, however i was wondering if you had any insight on if it matters where the sub is for loading issues

design 1 you will want the sub farthest away from the port, design 2 you will want the sub right next to the port.

This ^^^^ explanation:

You want the rear wave contained as long as possible. Keeping it away from the port opening will allow the internal air to compress more before shooting out the port. If the rear of the sub was close to the port opening the sub wouldn't be controlled as well, more likely to unload sooner.

I prefer labyrinth ports similar to design 1 more for this purpose.
