Default Trunk lid fiberglass design

OK goys. So audio extremes is getting finished with the clamshell this week. So substage and front stage are done.

I now want to do a trunk lid fiberglas design to knock the dickss off any bystanders when im demoing or parked out at a show. The trunk lid itself is going to be my base. Im going to pull the carpet off of it and here is a stock photo of the lid itself.

What im thinking is doing 15 of the PRV Audio 10mr1000s. (Ive already gotten in bed with PRV Audio) no homo. And also theire supertweeters, so anyway, I am thinking of 3 rows across and 5 in each row. I will put a tweeter in every gap between those 3 rows where the top bottom side and side meet. I hope that makes sense how im explqaingin it. I will put a tweeter basically where that little gap will be between tops and bottoms and whreer they are gapped between them.

So anyway, if anyone wanted to doodle something up or something

I just dida paint sketch so u can get the idea.

let me know what you think

I will get Neill to pull a measurement on the trunk lid., As it stands with the 10". I will need roughly AT LEAST 50" inches across and 30" inches top to bottom.

Shittt, I forgot to tell you about power.

Ive got right now 3 ampere audio 3800s for my 6 15's, since were using a little less than optimal air space for 6-15s in a car, I can always add 3 more 3800s to compensate for the smaller box. no biggie. and ive got 1 ampere audio 125.4 for my front doors. IM thinking of getting 2 more 125.4s just for this trunk project. and iff needed I can always add 2 more. casue the supertweeters prv has in their line the biggest ones they make are 600wrms and the 10' im lookin at are 1000wrms, this info came straight from PRV "our guys are normally putting all of the recommended wattage to our higher lines and some have even ran a considerable amount more with great results."

So anyway, if I need to run hwatver I have to , then I will do it.

I don't know that ive got 50" across that trunk lid.

either have to drop to 8"s or I will only be able to do like 9 -10"

What do you guys think about using 9-PRV 10MR1000s and 10-tw600s

Those are the powerful ones that johnny assured me would Knock the heads off of any bystanders

should get the car back this week. Talked with prv and were good to go.

Looking at these http://www.djstagegear.com/12mb1000/
they are the 12mb1000. pure midbass with range up to 3000khz i believe. Keep em crossed a little lower, and let my 10"s and tweeters pick up the relaly high stuff.

Here are the 10"
http://www.djstagegear.com/10mr1000-...drange-woofer/

He said not to cross these too low, like around 250hz and up

And last but not least the supertweeters.

tw600
http://www.djstagegear.com/search.ph...ch_query=tw600

So all in all im thinking 4-12"s, 4-10"s , and 8-tweeters

Before anyone starts with the hate or bashing, realize this isnt a daily driver and its a comp car. Ive got a truck i drive daily. This car is just for sound. Pop the trunk and u will get a face full of fukckkin PRV AUdio
