Default Fiberglass help

I have my order of speaker rings and speakers coming in. Just a quick question for any fabricators out there. What fabric do u suggest using to lay over the rings in the door panel? I was thinking felt but wasn't definite. Thanks

The most popular fabric is speaker grill cloth by far. Speaker Grill Cloth Black Yard 70" Wide 260-335
Another fabric that you might actually have is a polyester cotton blend tee. Any fabric that stretches in all 4 directions should work fine. Just be careful not to over catalyze resin to prevent it from cracking! Good luck if I had the time I'd post a how to but my time is limited presently. will post up when I get caught up... hopefully before I die!

Fleece is what you are looking for. Or a old tshirt or pretty much any stretchy fabric. You also want to plug the holes with wood wrapped in foil to keep them from getting resin on the inside and from getting stuck. Once that hardens turn it over n go ham with resin n glass on the inside.

Thank you guys, first time wrapping doors. The typical polyester resin will work for these applications?
