Default 1998 trooper C pillar wall

Alright everyone, this is my first attempt at a wall and by far the biggest build i've done.

Space is 29 deep (seat back to cargo opening)
40 wide (between wheel wells)
36 tall (opening of cargo door)

power will be between 3000-3500 watts.

My questions comes to....what would you do? I have mocked up:

Regular ported box: undecided tuning
8 500rms 10's
6 500rms 12's
2 1000rms 18's

4th order: also undecided tuning
8 500rms 10's
6 500rms 12's
2 1000rms 18's

Just looking for opinions on what would be a "ground pounder". as much as I would like to say i dont care about mic score, I would at least like to be in the high 40's. Also looking for a good response from 30ish hz up to mid 50's.

and the reason for the 10's 12's and 18's is a cost/cone area ratio.

thanks for your input

cone area cone area cone area. but i feel 4 12's in a 4th (if space allows) would maximize your extension. flat wall 4th.

Well the 6 12s would give you the most cone area. The two 18s gives you the least by around 120ish sq/in.
So my vote would be for the 6 12s all day!

If i input data into WinISD (for whatever its worth) It is showing the highest output being a regular ported flat wall for 2 18's tuned about 35hz should be the "loudest" and relatively flat from 30hz on up. But I know a program isnt going to be same as real world experience.

If i just go by cone area, the 6 12's should be loudest, but according to program its not. so i dont know lol

With the 6 12s you've got the most cone area and still have a great amount of motor force. Any ideas on what subs you'll actually be using?

12's would be the Execution audio entry 12's
18's would be CT sounds strato v2 (maybe MESO)

amps will be 2 ct1400.1

Either one of those would be fine. But if you do the 18s save up and do the MESOs for sure and each CT 1.4k to 0.5ohm.

another option today presented itself (aka a box builder highly recommended it)

4 Strato 15's in 16.1 cubes Net tuned to 37hz.

The response graph he showed me was killer and lots of cone area. anyone have thoughts?

lots of threaded rod in effort to keep from double baffling. reason being trying to maximize internal airspace and i get 5/8 threaded rod pretty cheap. will this be ok?

16 cubes 35hz. for 4 15's

255sq in of port
