Default (2) DD9512 build Box help

I just bought 2 DD9512g's for crack head prices. 300 for two with PSI soft parts. Now my collection has increased and inventory is high.

I want to get a build going with these in the Spring. I have about 5.5 cubes that I want to utilize for a trunk wall. This will be my first trunk wall.

I heard people like tuning in the 36-38 range for these woofers so for spl sake I'd like to be in that area.

I have never used aeros in my builds but what are the advantages of them?

I wouldn't know how to tune/length these out really so I'm kind of intimidated.

does 2.5 net per sub sound about good on a MMATS M3000.1?

I've never used psi soft parts on DD subs. Don't know if you'll be able to play far below tuning full tilt like the OEM 9500's. If you have the funds, an 8" adjustable aero port would make things easier. But yes 36-38 hz is ideal for most people running 9500's. I'd use as much of the 5.5 cu as you can. Should be able to play down to mid/high 20's.

Cool thanks. I know I wish they had OEM parts in them, but for that kind of deal I couldn't pass it up. I figure the motors and baskets would be worth that alone. Could you elaborate a bit on adjustable aeroport? Sorry I'm just new to aeros.

Much larger enclosure. That 3k won't even tickle them.

Dunno how much larger I can go until I get down to the grit of it. 3k is all I have on tap unless I can trade for a 4k
