Default Box For MT 12's

i am just tryin to get some ideas. ill be reconing the subs in the next couple weeks. i can roughly get 6.5 to 7 cubes in my trunk before displacement. i have alway built musical boxes tuned to between 30 and 33hz. plus i have always run 15s and 18's. i am aiming this build to be musical and spl. also wantin to try areos this time. what would be a good tuning. i am thinkin around the lines of 38hz maybe? also what would be best with aeros 4 4"ers or 2 or 3 6"s. any input would be great

Not really-

he has 5+cu to work with, and if you want #'s, the boxes are smaller..

your wanting to find the res. freq of your vehicle and peak there.

So if its 44hz (resonant freq) then you will tune from 4-6hz lower.

well then i am righ ton par with the tuning around 38. box is gonna be sealed off from the trunk sub and port forward. so i should stay with a slot over aeros. only reason i wana try aeros is so i can play around with the tuning instead of tearin out and rebuildin boxes everytime.

5 cubes tuned to 37-38hz would sound great

that is if you have 2 12's.
