Default Hdc315-a Box Help

Alright im looking for some help. I have 4 15 hdc315-a with 4 2200d amps. Now im looking into building a smaller box for them to help power output w/ better cone control. Should 2.5 cbs per sub after displacments work?

Im going to keep 38hz cuz i love it
How much port area should i use per cubic foot?
Im looking for a VERY loud daily driver. Looking for 153+ Db on music. Im very close to this but i can do better.

What u guys think?

First off you need a tad of dynamat lol...hey It's chris down in mpls. 2.5 I think will be a tad too small, maybe 3.5, or even 3.25. Plus I swear that ports a lil large lol...maybe someone could chime in bout that too.

3.5 should do, but in all seriousness, i don;t know why not go with 18's and fill the open space? Definitely get better numbers that way as well.

yeah i know its you bro. Yeah 3-4 layers of dynamat is going in LOL

Remeber paul had 4 12 hdc312s in 7.5 cbs after displacments thats under 2 cbs per sub even though his is 12s so 3-3.25 per sub for me should be good

you're already on the small side with the power you have, especially with the alum coils.

Personally unless you plan to up the power I'd go bigger like 4.25-4.5 per sub.

I'm running 4 in 18cubes in a wall with 360^2 of port area, but drop it down to 288^2 @ 36Hz for daily. Did 154.2 with the daily tune and 154.5 with the higher tune, both legal on music.

I still plan to switch to the new coppers after the CACO show...

i realy want to know how many sq inchs of port per cubic feet i should use. Right now in my box its 16sq inchs per cube.

You're in a wall too lol. Lil easier for numbers. It's all trial and error. Paul's pretty good with boxes, but I doubt he built 1 and was like yep, thats the best I'm gonna get lol.
