Default 4th order in ranger

How do you think a 4th order would do in a ranger. I would want to put it in the extended cab part. Do you think there is enough air space for about 2 15s? Or enough room to even do a 4th order?

First off im no expert. But if people can wall tacomas (cab space not much larger than yours in my opinion) you can do it. Would suggest.higher power for a smaller sealed end, and wall if you cam.

I could be way off here, but.anything.is possible.

A 4th order for 2 15s is possible in a ranger. I had one in my s10 it will be a wall if done correctly tho.

It will be highly dependant on the subs you plan to use and how much space they will require on the sealed side as well as the ratio you want to go with and desired tuning. Can you do a 4th there with 2 15's, yes... can you do a 4th with 2 15's and have sealed resonance in the lower 40's with a large ratio ported side, probably not so much. Just really depends on your goals and choice of subs whether or not you will be happy with the results.

I know it will have to be walled. I think I have 12-16ft^3. I could do a ratio of around 3:1 or 4:1. Would it be more beneficial to do a regular b-pillar wall or the 4th? I would like to have a build for numbers but a daily setup. Would like to get mid 50s on music but not strictly just an spl vehicle.

Thinking about inverted up firing with port at the top? Much less efficient that way, might have better luck with a ported flat wall

After doing a build in my 2002 Ford Ranger Ext cab I'd say it's possible, but you're really going to be cramming. I barely fit a single 18 in the back of mine. 6.5 cubes with a triple baffle on the front, .75" wood etc. you can fit about 7.2 cubes before displacement, all single baffles etc. if you don't build into the area below the hump in middle and staying below the window line.
So maybe a 2:1 ratio 4th. So honestly it's possible, but lots of angles and lots of fun building an enclosure.
