Default aero port help

I'm thinking about building a new box for my car(2000 Bonneville). Plan is using an aero port since I have a cubby hole in my back seat, thing is I have never messed with aero ports so any help is appreciated. Btw its for a single sa-15

two 3 cu ft chambers... the front tuned to45hz.. two 4" ports 8" long.. really don't need aeroports

Didnt plan on a 4th order, haven't done one of them either. I was just thinking standard box, ported through the hole since my back seats dont fold down and thought an aero would be best/easiest way

External square or rectangle made of MDF/Ply would work too, but I'm a PVC lover.

I thought of doing an external rectangle, but thought I would try something new and give an aero a shot

Regardless if it's a 4th order or ported, are you suggesting he just use two 4" pieces of PVC without flares?

I know I already said a similar comment to another post you made in a different thread, but I think you are extremely underestimating the importance of flares.

Do you have any tests that show they are not important? I think if you ask any top competitor, they are very important. Even if he never plans to compete, the gains are very noticeable in the real world as well. We're not talking a tenth or so on a port that size.

Bill is very expensive. A friend insisted on building a box using 3" pvc for ports and beyond popular believe, they didn't make any noise. Shocked the shit out of me
