Default 18" Sealed Enclosure Questions

Ok, so I bought a custom 18" Ssacket designed 3000 watt subwoofer from a member on here. Problem is, I just traded in my SUV for a 2014 Kia Forte Lx. I dont wanna do anything too crazy so ported is out of the question now.

We have no T/S param's for the speaker, although the last user said it should be good for sealed as well.

What do yall think I should do for airspace for an 18" sealed? I was thinking like 4-5 cubes.

What is a generic size for a 18" speaker for a sealed enclosure?

sounds about right, without any tsp to to run to get an estimate, probably go as big as you can, problem you will run into is not being able to fit into the trunk opening, not having enough space in your trunk

Polyfill is not always a fix. It just makes the box seem larger than it really is. If the box is already too big, I dont wanna make it even bigger. :P I just need to know a general size I should try for before I gotta start worrying about polyfill or reducing airspace.

Does the driver just use the triple stack EVO motor that he used to build a ton of drivers with? 6 or 12 spoke basket?

Yeah. It sounds exactly like the EVO motor. I've had one before. Wish I wouldn't have traded it away since they're not so common anymore.

I would just use 3.5-4 cuft and see how it is.

Wanna buy/trade for it? Being that I'm in a car, and a small one at that, I could probably benefit more from a 12" of some sort.

In the mean time, I'll probably go with 4ft and go from there. I'll build the box at my dad's while I'm on vacation next week.
