Default Need help with port

ok so i have two 15s Lethal Injection D4s being shipped tomorrow and want to start the box plan to get wood tomorrow if can get the box specs down pat.
so here is what i got from Re Calculator

Box width:51
Box height:21
Top box depth:21
Bottom box depth:21
Wood thickness: 0.75

perfect cubic feet per sub at 8.5 (4 per sub)
ok so the problem comes in with the ports. I want the box tuned to 34 or 32 hz. and in Re all you can do is a side port would that be fine for this install with the two 15 sitting on there side (not up toward the roof) if so then i want a
7.5 width square port with a 3in lip. Will this trow off the placement of the subs should i do a bottom port or Areo port?
LIKE I SAID WANT TO START TOMORROW SINCE I GOT A DAY OFF WORK
Thank you AJ

i don't see why it would be a problem being ported out the side. you can put the subs basically anywhere they'll fit on the side and adjust the port accordingly. pics help lol

I'm with these guys, the RE calc is fairly obsolete.

I use this one to determine vent length. PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES The part on the top that says, "Minimum Usable Vent Diamater," is fairly inaccurate. Well, it could be accurate, but I suggest other means of finding your 'optimal' vent diamater.

I'm assuming this is going in your screennamesake, a 63 Impala?

With those dimensions, you have an internal volume of 10.89 cubes. With that kind of air space, I'd probably run 3 6" aeros that are 16.5" long. That will put you a slightly lower than 34hz by my calculations.

I'd also fire everything rearward.
