Default Choose a box stain

Trying to decide which stain to go with for my box. I really like both of them so I'm leaving it up to you guys to decide which one to go with

The darker one has 1 coat of polyurethane on the right half, and the lighter color (port side) doesn't have any poly on it yet

i vote darken it up - helps hide the screws better
also cool idea
ghost pattern on box using a stencil
and lightly spray stain over stencil ( like using a squirt bottle )

I forgot to mention the box pictured is just a spare box I wanted to test on. I'm going to add a second coat of poly to the darker side and a first coat to the light side and see how they look. Supposed to wait 2-3 hours between coats of poly and sand. I already sanded with 600 grit so I think I'll be good
