Default Tantric Sounds HDD 15 on 3kW box advise

Hello guys,

This forum has been awesome with helping out so far, I'm hoping someone can give me a hand building an enclosure. Details are,

Tantrics HDD 15
RF T2500-bdCP
Car: BMW 740i
Dimensions 32"W x 18"D1 20"D2 x 16"H
Power, safe to say 2500-3000W even if the amp births more.
180A alt, 2 AGMs, not chasing numbers, strictly music.

I'm at work now and don't have access to Torres but I came up with 2 5" aero's 24" long (obviously would need an elbow) for about a 32Hz tune, but open to ideas from guys that do this more often than me.

I appreciate any advice, thanks.

EDIT: Just to add, 180A is the max size alt that I can get for my car. I put quotes in to DC, Singer, and Mechman... only Singer got back to me (cool guy, i'd be more than happy to give him my money).
These are the two batteries; may have room for a 3rd group 48.
Intimidator 9A48 Group Size 48 (H6) AGM Battery - Remy Battery
Intimidator 9A95R Group Size 95R AGM Battery - Remy Battery

EDIT: Forgot to add, car has 4 cutouts for the stock 5.25" which are removed, and wanted to aero port through 2 of them, sub facing the rear ski pass.

Well I'm just open to ideas, I want to do the best that I can with the space that I have to work with.

like i said, i built one for a hdd 15 on a pb3k, 3.5cu net and it was decent...at full power, id go 3.5cu...underpowing, id def go like 4.25-4.5net...the sub was honestly barely moving...these subs have a huge xmax...they wanna move, alot...dont get me wrong, it was loud and played low but it had wayyyyyy more in it...unless u plan on upgrading power down the road, id build the box bigger

with the space that you have, the two aero ports would probably be your best bet.

Alright, thanks very much. I don't plan on upgrading power later, 3kW is about the max that I'd want to subject this car too. I'd heard that these subs were beasts but if 3kW is considered under-powering them then dayummmmm, lol.

Thanks, yeah this is exactly what I came up with, but I think now I'm going to have to make some sacrifices for the greater good. 20" is the max depth that I have and still being able to remove the full size 18" spare tire... so I have more room, I just may have to make a hinged trunk floor.

Do you mind running the numbers if D1=20 and D2=22, and then if D1=22 and D2=24?

and one I did for the heck of it, if you wanted to run a single 8 aero.

the 1 8 would probably deem you better than the 2 5s for the 22-24 depth

A single areo is more effecient and would be my choice almost every time over a pair of aero's. I'd do a single 8 over a pair of 5's, even if a box program is show lower airspeed for a pair, I wouldnt' completely trust it in that case.

Have you actually tested that. It is totally build dependant and also depends on how you meter. I've had cars to where that statement is true and also where that statement is false

I'd go single 8 just for ease of install. The ports are cheap and VERY easily rebuildable. 4 feet of 8" sonotube is like $5-6. The flares are $40 shipped on here from ChaunB like I mentioned in the other thread. You're having a hard time finding 5" PVC and you'd have to flare each end and do all that nonsense
