Default Forward & Rear facing subs?

has anyone ever done this and had great results?.....i will have 4 dc level 3 10's 2 facing forward and 2 facing back with a side firing psycoport...anyone forsee a problem here? since iv never ran both forward and rear facing at same time

Uh I seen top and rear. I see a slight problem. Your bass is not going to hit the drivers seat at the same time. Maybe sound muddled. Definitely lose Db if you are a numbers guy.

So are you going just for numbers?

The only thing I can add is that for me, sub up/port up sounds more boomy/slow, while sub back/port back sounded more punchy/fast.

hmmm i can do 3 firing forward and 1 firing backward with a 8 inch psycoport....doing 144's at 30hz and 145+ at 37 now...with all 3 firing forward

i just dont have the space to fire all 4 forward....sux...hmm would 3 beefier 10's get me past a 50? in same box on 2 AT800.1's strapped..(btw the dc level 3's i have now are reconed for 600rms each)
