Default What's wrong with my box?

I just did finish my newest install and something is wrong. I have 4-18" atomic apx in a 24 cuft box but tell me this...am I wrong for putting a 15" port that's 12.5" long? When I did my box numbers I come up with 28hz but the low bass just makes the subs excurt alot instead of making my truck shake. I had a pair of these subs in a 12cuft @ 29hz box with a pair of 8"x12"L aeros and it made my wipers slap. Any ideas? I have to get this right cuz I've been planning this over a year.

I believe the port is too big, that if I break it down into a single smaller port or a couple smaller ports then it'll hit the lows, maybe the subs don't have time to load up with such a large opening in the box

Ya I'd def try a smaller port...I've seen a few setups that didn't do well sub up port up in a big box like that

Wait why,he has like 20 cubes the port area is around 8 or 9" per cu ft. and it has 4 woofers pushing it. Could it be that the port area is too small?
You sure all speakers are wired correctly (in phase)?

I use a single 16" aero for 2 x 18's and it's not too much port daily. I think you need more port as well. Two 12" ports minimum, or a big slot.
