Default 8" areo port on 6.1cf box for 2 15s enough?? 8 sq in per cf

hello everyone i am building a box for a friend who is trying to cram too much in such a small vehicle.

6.1 is the biggest i can make the box and we restricted to about 18-20" for a port. 8" port lets us tune 30-32 which is perfect for daily imo but only gives us 8sq in per cf.
a 10" areo will let us tune 37-38 which is a little high for both our likings

-subs are d1.4 mayhem 15s
-amp is a ddm4 wired at .35 possible or maybe 1.4. if i can manage to get away with a 8" areo we might try .35 because less port area encourages box rise
i see people run spl setups and plug their ports to tune lower so i don't see a problem with a 8" areo. i was just scared of port noise because i am also not going to flare these much or at all

8" aero will be fun... 0.35 ohms is the sweet spot for m4's. Amp will run like a champ just make sure he monitors his voltage.

Yes for sure I will tell him keep it above 12-12.5 at all times 13+ would be nice but he has stock alt and 3extra batts. also looks like I'm doing 8" went I picked up the sonotube

Above 13 would be unpractical. I'd be happy to keep the voltage above 11.8-12.0 with that electrical.

Careful with sonotubes the size can vary +or- half an inch so an 8in could be 7.5 or 8.5 i think they go in quarter inch steps.

Bring your flares with you when you pick up the sonotube!
