Default Walled Ext Cabs, Center, Top or Driver side?

Pro's, con's, what are y'alls results as far as testing. Mine is a center fire, has very smooth response, but have not tried a driver side or top fired port.

Let me know what y'all know.

Current wall is ~15.5 cubes, 235sq in of port, plays 31-60.

Idea is to shrink it down to about 14.5, driver side port, maintain same port area as well.

Subs are CT Meso 2.0's
Amp will be something around 10-11k.

I've heard that a top port is quietest, center port is smooth, and driver side port is loudest. My next build will again be a center port.

Main reason I ask, I am very close to knocking out my baffle and port, and making it driver side ported.

Did you guys happen to record the difference in SPL between the center vs. top etc? I was thinking about trying center and top too.

Ill definitely have to report back or make a thread if i go through with this, since, port length and port area will remain the same, only a slight volume change and very minor tuning change.

Would be nice to see the difference.
