Default Blow-through decissions pole

I have gone back and forth and back and forth in my mind on if I want to do a through-window style, or underneath the window style.

Through window style
Pros.
-inverted subs will look sexy
-lots of room
-won't have to do permanent damage to my truck
- box would probably be easier to design/build/change things on

cons
-will have to cut the hell out of my camper shell because my back window is huge compared to the camper shell window
- Will attract wandering eyes...easy to steal subs out of it.
- wont be able to see behind me, which would suck when backing trailers(cant see the short ones in my mirrors)
-camper shell will be pretty much trash if i go to sell it

traditional, under the window style

Pros
- Will be easier to make it look good
-more difficult for somebody to steal
-will give people a surprise because the truck will look mostly stock
- will be able to see out the back of my truck
cons
-will have to do permanent damage to my truck

If i think of more pros/cons ill add them, or if you have any to add ill add them(if it's relevant)

Crap, how do I make it a pole?

Well I think the camper is less valuable than the truck itself. I dont know which is louder, might be the same, but limited by the opening of the window possibly?

subs wont be easy to steal in a window blow thru. put the subs facing the truck. mount the box. they wont be able to get them out. put the amps and all inside the truck behind the seat.

do something like this. even if you invert it adds a little security to someone taking the subs out easy

but I could hide the holes to the truck(would have to get a drop in plastic bedliner though)
the window opening would be much bigger than the opening underneath.

hmmm....I had in my mind that the subs would be aiming up, in a 6th or 4th order.

are you meaning like this?
this picture was taken from the back seat area of a truck.
New project! what could it be?

I've seen 3 blow throughs through the window, and all were pretty loud (or going to be, and you found the one that's going to be loud). The other 2 are John Hone and Travis Atherton. John's got a big dually (like Hanks) but he's got a 6th order (or at least I think that's what it is) and it's low as hell and does very well with only like 3kw. Travis runs the same amp, but to 4 15s and is a touch louder on the meter (but it's mid to high 40's hz range vs 30hz for John). Either one will move some air, and are sweet builds... I'd go that route...

Here is john's
YouTube - BRUTAL Demo of MB Quart Subs And Hifonics Amp With John Hone
crazy crazy stuff...it's one of the main reasons pushing me towards a through window style(plus the lack of holes in my truck, lol)
is the vid he is running it as 4th order though.(has the ports covered)
