Default 3 sa-8's in a 4th order

Something that's been crossing my mind lately is buying one more sa-8 v2 d2 for a total of 3 and putting them in a 4th order box. Sealed side would be around .9cft and ported side close to 3.5cft tuned around 45-50hz.

This is just something I've thought about and an open discussion may just push me into that direction. I'm intending on having my Lanzar opti2000d running at 1.34ohms. This will be in my 97 ford expedition.

I'd do a 2.5:1 ratio of ported to sealed. 0.9 ft^2 sealed and 2.25 ft^2 ported. I'd tune to 45 hz and use about 60-70 in^2 of port area. Should give you a nice extension down to the upper 20's and plenty of output up into the 60's

From everything I've read the V2's aren't exactly optimal for fourth orders. Sorry to rain on your parade maybe I'm mistaken.

i dunno just yet. no clear responses and its not like many people would do something like this either. im sure they would work just fine though. really at this point in time its more of a waiting game on getting some side work in to have a little cash.
