Question Your thoughts CACO?

Ordered a X10 v2 d2 and a SCV-2000D a couple of days ago.

Hopefully i can just put it in the box i built for the v1 but never installed.

Designed the box with torres to fit in my Ranger and built an enclosure with 1" mdf that is 14h x 17d x 24w with a 2" wide port (33.5" physical length) and with the displacement of the v1 it was smack dab right on the spec's listed on the SD website (1.5 cubes net, 24" port area & tuned to 32 hz.

For power i have a mechman 170A charging a group 65 NSB under the hood and will be adding another one in the box. The big 3 is done with ce auto elect. supply 2 ga. tinned OFC with a run of the same back to the box of the truck.

I'm only making 170amps under the hood and will have a battery within 4-5 feet of the amplifier i'm wondering if i have done a sufficient job or if i should consider more electrical upgrades?

Should be fine once you have the rear battery.

Default Necro bump with a question

So i'm running a Zv4 10" in the same box and the SCV-2000D i had planned for the X-10 and it sounds great.

Only thing i've changed since the OP was i stepped up to a 250A mechman and replace the 2ga. with 2/0 welding cable.

This is what it looked like in Torres,

I was wondering if someone here could post a screenshot of what the output response curve looks like with win isd, term pro or some other modeling software of the like.

I've tried win isd and had no luck, kept getting an error message as i must have input some of the T/S spec's incorrectly and pretty much rage quit on trying again.

Also curious of what the projected port velocity would be and if it's too low or to high.
