Default Building first box with aeros, can someone confirm length

Hey guys, ca.com is down and I started building my box this morning, really need soem help before I put the back on the box so I can mount these aeros nicely.

psp's port calc is down

Im trying this site http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31 but Id love to get input from another source. Only thing that may be different is I dont know if this site takes into account displacement, or flared ends. Im running aeroports, but they wont be mounted flush against the box baffle, they will be spaced out 3/4" away...... how do I account for this....

Looking for accuracy on this build

Box is 36" wide, 31" tall, 23" deep.
.75" wood
12.66 cubes internal

Im going to be using (3) 8" aeroports, both subs combined displace .66 cubes

Going for a 38hz tune I get 17.6" long, but.... variables. I dont know if that means 17.6 of STRAIGHT port, plus flares, or is that total length end to end including flares

I dont know if this site takes into place displacements or anything though

Any help appreciated, hoping to bang this out if it stops raining in just a couple hours

Yeah it hasnt loaded for me in the last 2 days figure. But Ive done it 2 through 2 calc, and I get 17.5-17.6, I just dont know if Im doing the displacement thing right, or if I have to account for it in the calc. Hoping someone has a little more experience with these aeros and calcs than I do, Im used to just straight slot ports.

Just need to know how long to make 3 of them tip 2 tip with the ports 3/4" spaced off the front baffle

Products Menu

Try it, it gives you both straight port length and flared port length. You need to enter your total net vol after all displacement and it will give you the length needed. Make sure you enter the right quantity of ports because the more ports you have the longer they will be.

I have some experience with aeros.
My current box is
3.9 before ALL displacements
minus sub displacement is 3.73
i used 2 aeros and was told each aero was ~0.2 so after sub/aero displacement i have 3.33. Thats the number i put in the psp calc

BTW psp calc is workin for me u want me to do it for ya?

Well the OP said psp's port calc is down so I figured it was. Terra asked if he tried the
psp calc so I thought he didn't catch that part while reading and said "he said it's down."
