Default Thoughts on making 6th order

I currently have two Toby Outlaws, most of you haven't heard of Toby speakers. Each 15 is in its own 4th order bandpass box. With two outlaws a Hifonics BRX 2k amp and singer 275 amp alt I got a termlab score of 144. I added 3 layers of second skin damplifier to the roof and 100% on the cargo area of my Tahoe and got a 146.5. I still have a lot of flex and vibration and want to minimize it by putting my boxes into another box. I was told this would make them 6th order by doing this. By playing around during the termlab session we found that the highest db was achieved by having the ports 14 inches away from the rear barn doors.

Is there a program that could help me with this design or do I just have to play with different designs and see what gets me the highest db?

Putting them into another ported box would make them a... 7th order?

Lol. I dunno. Definitely wouldn't be a traditional dual reflex though.

Totally in for results if you try that shit.

My plans are to add two more for a total of 4. I plan to have them stacked with ports towards the center. I think I should do a double layer of MDF down the center vertically dividing the left and right, and put a 45 deg angle peace on the back wall. it would have a roof and floor and side walls.

any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

are you in it for the bass to demo and be a local hero or to compete in a class with rules

i ask because i learned alot about viechle flex in my ghetto blaster suburban build - and eventually went with entire plywood roof multi layer - and 4th order c pillar build / actually using the metal structure of the viechle as a base to attach and build to.
there is no flex anymore on my build - exept for the floor infront of the c pillar and my dash board goes a little bananas still - but taking flex out of the equasion in a loud build does a few things - one of them is the frequency resonance in the viechle - as viechle flex actually can help or hurt score at certan hz i thought it was crazy at first but it has something to do with cabbin gain im no scientist with it - but if your just trying to build a loud setup as brutal as you can get it - then yes absolutely eliminate as much flex from the viechle as you can - all that energy wasted in flex will be transfered in to harder hitting more violent feeling bass inside for the users.

just a few thoughts on diffrent ways you can go or test with. check the ghetto blaster burb build log for aplication of wood to the roof and c pillar rear area box build if you need some inspiration

What are the coils like on those? Using a 6th to control excursion and adding more power could probably get you a bit on the meter if the coils aren't at their thermal limit.

yeah something like that, I've had Toby subs/box since I was in high school so I still buy them. Don't want to change just yet.

Not sure on the coils, I could pull a sub out and take some pics. I'm still very noobish on all of this. The subs can handle 800 watts, I'm currently giving them closer to 1100. The subs have gotten a bit higher db on TL by lowering the volume a few clicks than going full unclipped volume.

Here's a ghetto sketch up I made of what I'm thinking of doing. Would this change my tunning? I was hoping just to reflect the sound waves to increase db.
