I've found that 32hz works really well with damn near all SoundQubed subs. Personally, I'd bump it up to [email protected]
and go with around 75 sqin. of port. I've played around with different box size, port area, and tuning for a pair of Hds212's on an IA10.1 in my buddy's 96 Mustang. I tuned everywhere from 30-37hz, and I wasn't impressed with anything higher than 35hz.
Are they going in your Mustang? We [email protected]
65sqin port and settled on [email protected]
& 70insq port, but anywhere in there is a good choice. I'd stay between 15-16sqin per cube. We relocated his Mach amps to the spare tire area and was able to make the box around 3" taller. Port rear sub rear was about the only thing we felt like trying.
