Default Sealing off the trunk?

I am considering throwing some 15's or 18's in my trunk, and i was wondering how would i go about sealing it off? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about a trunk wall?

Or doing them IB?

Or

What exactly are you trying to seal off?

one way would be to go through the rear deck, and seal it off from there.

I just want to have them IB. And keep everything how it is. I do not want to cut up my rear deck or anything.

Mount a baffle where the seats fold down then fill in all the gaps with expanding foam and cover the entire area with sound deadener, do the same for the rear deck also.

Okay, that was my next question. The rear deck. How would i go about getting that covered? Just put mdf over it and stuff to make it so no air can get to it? I dont have to have a back on the "wall" the trunk is the backside of the "wall"?

Correct.

It's not a true IB setup since you can calculate the airspace in your trunk though. It's refered to a TBB setup.

You just need to make sure you completly seal off the trunk from the cabin of your car.

Okay, so that rear deck is a must. So it shouldnt be too hard to seal it off, just the "wall" and the rear deck and im set? Easier said then done though.

Much easier said than done.

I was planning a build like this myself but I decided I didn't want to permanently disfigure my trunk to do it.
