Default 2003 avalanche enclosure help?

I know a few people on here run avalanches and currently im trying to see what other people are running and their box designs to get ideas. I was wanting to do 6 12" subs in a fourth order and was told by ram I have plenty of space to do so but.. it'll take every bit of the plenty of space to do it. Thinking.. I could just do some sealed setup or somehow ported if fourth won't work or doesn't seem like the best thing to do.

All im wanting to do is hairtricks per usual, however.. not sure what i'd need to pull this off. I have ( way too much ) electrical, quad alt bracket with 270s and a 270 on stock location.. will be running a single RE MT.EVEREST 10k ( 5k @ 1 ) to my setup at 1.3 load before rise. Currently have 6 12" planet audio big bangs bbd12s to be powered and would like to use those unless suggested otherwise. i've seen these exact subs flex vehicles insane and move tons of air at slamology for the price.. I wanted to try them.

Can anyone help me or share past designs they have had/used and if anyone has them, max comfortable deminsions without having to mod or cram anything. I never trust my measurements on something THIS big with the midgate opening as it is so .. any help is appreciated.

well I don't have any designs for ya but definitely recommend the 4th order you planned...hella easy in that truck. I use to think the avalanche was the perfect setup for a sound system. So did my buddy when he bought his '07 and spent good money having a system built into the back cargo area. Two 15 kicker l7's in a huge box subs & port forward firing. But IMHO it sounds like arse...maybe because they are l7 (lol) or because the port and subs fire forward, but it just don't do it for me. I put 2 15 stereo integrity home theater subs in my 05 Tahoe subs up port back and he laughed at my "house speakers" as he called it till I turned it on. Now he wants to rip his out and asked if I could build him a 4th order. I really think that's the best for Avalanches. Hella easy too. We planning on doing four 15's down firing into a sealed section in the bottom of the bed and have the magnets up in top section and build a big o'l port window into the cab. No crazy angles, simple design yet effective.

any chance you could help with a design if I get you measurements? I am not sure how much they'd actually differ though year wise.

If you want hairtricks you're going to need more cone area than that opening can provide (like if you just do two fifteens regular ported at the opening.) Do the 4th, if you wanna do hairtricks and be really loud you need it.
