Default How hard is it to build a box?

If you only have a jigsaw and skilsaw?

FWIW, we also have a cordless dewault 18v saw.

done it many times. im assuming youre just asking about the basics to dice it all up, no?

as long as your lines are straight, angles true, and your circles round, you should be fine.

toss the cordless saw for that job unless youre cutting notches for some odd reason,.. they dont really last long cutting 3/4" of anything

Clamp a long straight edge or anything straight to the wood you're about to cut to use as a saw guide. Using that method, you can make just as good of a cut as a table saw.

I only use a circular saw for boxes. Any table saw under a grand is trash IMO. Way better cuts with a clamp guide and circular saw. Predrill. Use Titebond II. And measure twice cut once.

Had to look up what a circular saw was. Basically a skilsaw, lol.

I'm good with them.

The dewalt 18v we have works really good, despite it being mostly plastic.

Also, which sundown sub should I use for the box design?

The NSv3, x12 and zv3 all need 2.5 cubes...

Treo has nothing on the website other than listing that it needs 2.25 net.

Ok so apparently the only ones that give the layout are the Z and X series...

Not sure what the extra port length inside would do

Which of these should I try to copy?

Both claim 32hz, 40^2 of port....unless I'm reading that wrong

Z v.4 Rev.2 on the left.

Worm Drive Skilsaw, Bosch Jigsaw, PorterCable Router, Dewalt Cordless (tools of choice)

I have built many many many boxes and I have yet to clamp a straight edge to wood, have a steady hand and follow the line, you should be golden.

Without a large table saw you will need saw horses of some sort when ripping sheet material.

Who told you to use a sundown subs box recommendation for a treo sub? What sub? I know where to find all treo T/S parameters. Maybe ask for those first.
