Default x-18 port area

So I'm trying to put 2 sundown x-18"s in a 2 door civic. I can get enough area if I build into the trunk but the port area is killing me. Numbers start getting crazy when tuning to 32 like recommended. I am trying to wall it but the port will have to go into the trunk and then it will be narrower and then my port area is too small.

So sundown is calling for 7 cu ft and 122 square inches per sub, but what do you think I can get away with before losing too much output? Also thinking of subs up port forward keeping the box around the window line but going all the way back in the trunk, that way I can have room for the port.

Any ideas

Raise tuning slightly
You could keep the port area and may only raise tuning 1 hz

On the Sundown site they have a sketchup file for a 2 18 box with only 11 cu ft and 138 sq in of port I haven't figured out what its tuned at but I guess its good enough.

Here's one I just did for a PSI platform 3 18", should work pretty good for the x18 too.

138sqin of port sounds low for 2 18's, just saying. Guess it depends on what you're powering them with

I would definently do this, I know 32hz is reccomended and this is an x not a zv4 but Jacob has told me before he likes to tune the zv4 to around 35. (which suprised me) so 33-34 is not out of the ballpark for an x18
