Post needing advise for my new build. cubic feet, port area, and sub an port orientation

Hey guys this is my first time posting on here. I'm having some problems and I need some answers please. My current setup is 2 of the new pure audio X3 15s on a soundqubed 3500 wired at .5 ohm my box specs are as follows. Gross volume 10.25 cubes. Net volume after displacement is 8.70 total port area is 108.88 square inches that's 12.51 sq inches per cube with the box tuned at 33.95 hz. The setup sounds decent but I'm not getting the output I want. Should I up the square inches of port to around 16 or 18 per cube or do I need more airspace someone please chime in. Also I have the box in the back of my 2010 ford f150 with subs forward and port firing up

less airspace....each sub after all displacments needs to see 3 to 3.5 cubes....and port area should be a minimum of 14 square inches of port per cube and then you should have decent output

Thanks for the reply. Why 3 to 3.5 cube per woofer? Thought 15s liked more airspace than that like 4 to 5 each. Sorry for the noon questions just trying to learn

Larger enclosures will always be more efficient around tuning. Not being "loud enough" is a relative thing, lol; to some people a 130 is loud, to others a 150 isn't enough.

If everything is wired correctly and the enclosure is solid I don't think minor changes to the volume or port area will do much of anything. If I were in your position I'd verify that the subs aren't wired out of phase and make sure both are receiving power by checking with a 9v.
