Default Box build for a friend

Ok I have a box design Im going to build this upcoming weekend. Its a DD spec box for a 10" 9500. 1.5cf net with 24sq in of port.

Not sure if I should add bracing for a box this small. Top will be double baffled 3/4" MDF and the rest will be single 3/4" MDF. 45*s in the corners. If anything Ill probably add some bracing to the bottom panel.

Started work on this box today. Waiting for my friend to bring the sub by so I can make sure the sub cutout is right. I need a better table saw but I guess what I got now is good enough to hold me over. After I get the sub from my friend I can make the sub cutout, mount the top and carpet

Yup humidity is stupid over here. I hate the fact that all my scrap pieces of MDF warp and grow mold only after a few days out. As long as the box is covered (carpet or painted) it doesnt get messed up.

Its tuned to 40hz. Its a DD spec box. My friend has about 2kw on tap which should be good for this.

Came out looking ok. Wish I didnt rush on some parts but overall looks good. Ran a little low on black paint for the port but not a big deal. Kind of had a chance to listen to it off a few hundred watts. Sounds pretty good. Now just waiting for my friend to pick it up and try it out in his car
