Hello, Just thought I would share a calculator I solved for finding the line length for a transmission line speaker box. Just enter the FS, Vas (Liters) and cone diameter in the excel spreadsheet to find the free air resonance line length for that speaker.
I found the intersections by setting the equations equal to each other then solving for X using the quadratic formula. Their are two intersections but only the positive value is considered. I used the reference links below to develop this calculator.
I plan to build my first T-line box very soon using a 10" custom subwoofer from Robot underground or obtain a Sundown SA-10, I'll post pics as the project goes on.
