Default 2 SA18's Box design check

I have 2 SA18's I'm going to run off a crescendo bc3500 and was wanting to have my box design checked over before I built it. Going to have it as my daily setup in the back of an avalanche as a blow through. Had somebody design the box for me wanted it tuned around 32-34hz. I would appreciate it if someone could run the numbers on it for me and let me know what it's tuned to, the port area, if its the proper amount of air space and everything else for the subs and power I'm going to be running. I can build boxes just don't have any idea on designing them. The sub displacement is 0.17ft^3 each. Any help would be appreciated if anybody has a better design or think I could get louder with a different style box I'm open to suggestions. The max space I have to work with is 20"H x 49"W x 30"D trying to leave a little room in the bed. Like I said any help is appreciated

Anybody able to shed some light on this for me? I know there's a box building guru around here somewhere

Using .5 as the displacement (you're going to want a little bracing) I get 10.38 net volume, 148.75" port area, 35.48hz. I used the xplicit audio app, not Torres, as I'm not near my PC.

If possible, Make the box a couple inches deeper, open that port up another inch or two wider and add some length. If I was building this box I would do a center port that was as wide as possible. The port walls would then add a ton of strength to your baffle since the baskets would be sitting right in the end of the port walls/sides. I would single layer the sides and add window bracing between the side and port walls. Single layer sides will give you a bit more room to squeeze more port area into the design.

Talk to massivespl aka Mafia Hertz. He used to run 4 of those sa 18's for a short time.

Have you asked iamsonic for the design?

Okay I went out and did some measuring and 33" deep is the max I can give up. I can make the front double baffle then make the rest single board all the way around to get a little more space. If I use some all thread or window braces that should be alright rightt? I was wanting the port on one side since I have the 70/30 back seat and that would allow me to lower that one side to expose the port and still have room for people to sit but I'm not dead set on having it that way. Putting the port in the middle makes sense and would definitely help brace the box up so if that's the way I need to go I'll go that route. I've got a box designer app on my phone but it doesn't let you do a double baffle so I took .75 off the length of the box and added .75 to the port length to compensate for it in the design if that makes any sense. Does this one look any better or is it worse? Thanks for the help it's appreciated. Looks like I'll most likely be hitting up I am sonic for a design

You should be able to do a box 49w 20h 30d. Port 9.75w 18.5h 20L. 12ft 34hz add a second baffle bringing total depth to 30.75. add a nice window brace from front to back between the subs and one from the port wall to the opposite side of the enclosure.

Alright that is tuned closer to where I was wanting it. Chance_P that design would probably sound better and get louder than the first design I posted up since it gives it more internal volume correct? On the port length you have 20" is that counting the 3/4" of the second baffle? I'm pretty sure it is and the total port length should end up being 20" just want to make sure I'm understanding you right before I build it. Thanks again for the help

Yes 20 includes the extra baffle. If you give me a couple days I can make a SketchUp diagram of the design I posted above. Not much free time right now.
