2-4" areo's. It would give you exactly 16sqin of port surface area per cu ft.

What 12? I use the PSP calculator. http://www.psp-inc.com/tools.html

I did a DD3512 in 3 cubes with one 6 inch aeroport and it slammed. 143.3 TL legal sealed up (not a fart box)

That would be a PSA of 12sqin per cu ft. Im sorry, i doubt that with the windows up. I have a 3512 and my first box was 3cu and had a psa of 13.5 and i could only pull a 139 out of it. When i built the second box, still 3cu with 16.5 sqin of port, same tuning(38hz) i pulled a 144 out of it. Port surface area means a lot when it comes to sub effeciency. Too small a port and you will "load" your car too hard, which means you will have to have the windows down a little to be loud. Too much port and your sub/s will unload too fast. Use right around 15-16sqin per cu foot and you cant go wrong. For 2cu, 2-4" Areo ports are perfect!

You doubt that? Let me get some pics uploaded there for ya. Also, would you like to see a video of it? I can show you that as well. I'm no rookie buddy.

Then you must have something going on that i dont. I couldn't get past 139 with that low of PSA on 3k! and there was no way i was getting over 144 total with that sub on 3k. Maybe you did. I wasn't there, but it seems unlogical since every box i've ever built with a psa lower than 14 pcf sounded like ass with the windows up. And im no rookie either bro. Been doing this over 10 years.

Sorry OP, but i stand that 2-4" Areo's is perfect for 2cu.

No prob man I been doing it for 10+ yrs myself, Biggy/MRrileySS on this forum was there that day. OP, for 2 cubes I would do 2 4' aero's like Resko1 said, for 3 cubes like I proposed (depending on the sub/tuning), one 6' aero worked very well for me. You can get away with less port area with aeroports.

Theres way more factors as to why he could have gotten louder than you were able to. Car, impedance rise, 3k watt amp being used, electrical system, box design, etc, etc...
Hell, put your setup in a crx and I guarantee it would easily be louder than either of you with the same power.
