Default Daily / Spl Trunk wall enclosure

I have a 2013 Honda Civic. 4 door trunk car. I am looking for a permanent type of enclosure what can do daily and spl on the weekend? What is the best type of enclosure to do this with? Maybe and 8th order or what do you think? Subs are (2) DSS Ethos 12's

I would use a aero port!! Tune low for daily, and high for comps.

idk if you could fit a 8th for 2 12's in a trunk much less have proper orientation to utilize it.

trunk wall with interchangeable ports would be good.

The general rule of thuimb (for a "perfect" speaker) is that for the same size total volume of enclosure and same power, as get more peak gain and less bandwidth as you move up in orders. An 8th could get really loud and for a trunk-sized build probably peak in the 60ish hz range if not higher, and with "heavy" subs that are not perfect transducers you start fighting inductance losses as you get higher in frequency so it might not even peak as high as a lower order enclosure at a lower frequency.

A small vehicle like that has such a huge cabin gain down low that you don't need anything fancy to get low end extension just from a simple 4th order or ported box.

Build a 4-5 cubic box tuned to 34-36 hz ported to the driver's side of the trunk. As much port as you can fit. Add lots of power, and you will be loud.
