Default 2 12" box design. whats it tuned at?

ok so the box is 4.028 cubic feet. 34" wide, 16 1/2" tall, 18" deep. double baffle on front for the subs. the two aero ports are 4". does anyone know what this box would be tuned at? is there a certain way to determine tuning for aero ports?

for 34hz tuning make each port 12.64

use the psp calculator

Products Menu

type in 4.02 for box cubic feet
whatever number you want for tuning
port diameter as 4
# of ports as 2

it will give you results for both straight length and flared

I believe you have to cut each port to 10"

are you using flared aeros?

that calculator gives 2 lengths, one for non flared aeros, and one for flared

probably flared. but if i go with straight all i gotta do is cut it 1" smaller so i might do that so i dont loose that much space in my box

you don't lose much with aero's. IIRC they usually take up about 0.2 cu ft each or around that somewhere. Go with flared ports inside and out, that 1 inch longer length won't hurt you much, and it's best to go with flared aeros instead of regular aeros
