Default Please Look Over!

I started messing around in BBP6 and came up with another design for my truck. I then opened up sketchup and started designing how I wanted it. I came up with a finished design but I think I made the port too long. I need someone to look over the design and see if its correct. I can email the sketchup file if needed.

The dimensions are:
14 H x 50 W x 8 TD x 11 BD

Port:
12.5 H x 2 W x 34.5 L

its suppose to be 1.75 cuft @ 33hz w/ 25 sq inches of port

Here are the sketchup images:

I need this asap because if this works out I'll be building it in the next few days.

The angles will mess up your port length, your best bet is to run the port along the back wall of the box.

I was aware that the angles will affect the port length but am curious by how much. Is it a bad idea to do? Reason I am trying to layout the box this way depth limitations and not wanting the port opening to close to the sub. I have kept everything on the same angle also.

It will affect the port quite a bit. It looks as though you measured your port length on the bottom (longer) side of the box, now measure the port length on the top of the box and see how much shorter it is.

If you want to keep the port opening away from the sub just make the port go 1/2-3/4 the way to the sub and then turn back towards the side.

I've heard that with angles is you measure the middle then you will get an approximate length. Is there any truth to this?

I didn't even think about having it curve that way. I will play around with that.

Not really. you could probably get away with it was only the port opening but being that it's multiple sides of the port I really wouldn't suggest it.
