My idea on fitting two 9515's in my trunk. I have the space, however the trunk opening is not big enough. I already have a box for a single 15, about 4.6 cubes total size.
This is my plan, cut the front off of the current box. Will have to cut it off due to the front baffle was glued on and would destroy it anyways. I would just trim it right off and wouldnt make the box really any smaller.
Then i can put that part of the box into the trunk, then build another similar sized partial box and "piece" them together with some more mdf. This would all be glued and screwed together obviously.
This will not only save me some wood by using the current box, but its also the only possible way i can see getting sometihng of this size into my trunk. I am assuming this will work if its done decently, maybe add some bracing at least, and i want to double baffle the front piece also.
Hopefully these pics kind of show what my plans are, or atleast what im trying to say is understandable.
I would build it like that last pic shows, with the cross piece already in there then i can just screw the top piece onto the box. Maybe make the connecting pieces a little wider tho prolly would be better..
