Default Is this box even possible to make? Pictures!

Okay, so its not tuned or done to any specific driver, but it is mocked up after the idea for 18"s. 4 ft long, 2 ft deep, 1 ft tall. All walls are .75 MDF. What I mean is, is is possible to put a kerfed port in that position? You can do anything in Sketchup, but what about real life? Anyone have a better idea for a kerfed port firing forward with the port on top or bottom. Subs facing up? Ideas?

I agree, I think that the placement is the biggest issue. But why not kerf the sides too? Build it, ship it to me *with said drivers, tuned to roughly 30.... and I will let you know?

Seriously, I dont see any MAJOR issues with the design. Any one else?

I disagree if the sides and top are done? It is ALOT more work, but I think it would look very nice. (A fully rounded port)

i would do it in two pieces. cut out both the front and the piece you want to bend, cut your kirfs for the one piece. lay them both on a table or floor and glue them together. then i would just reinforce it a lil bit with some fiberglass after you get the whole port together.
