Default 4 18" sundowns , s10 clamshell ported help

built a few walls and many of boxes but nothing like this . im trying to stuff these 4 18's in my truck . with my walkthru the opening into the cab is 42 at the top , 50 at the bottom . my problem is i dont have the first idea on how to tune a box this big and exactly how it should be ported .

I'd like to see it have slot ports at the base of the >.

It would have similar properties to other enclosure designs. {tapped horn}

I think it'd kick some major ass.

lol do a 4th order if you got the room. do a sealed clamshell at the rear and port the front.

like 2.5 cube per sub sealed. so 10 cubes sealed and like 40 cube ported. if you have a walk through im sure u have 50 cubes to work with. if not 40 cubes port 30 would be fine too.

im sure i have the room too lol , how do i go about tuning the port on a 4th order ?

ok that doesnt sound to be to hateful . what kind of response can i expect from this style of box . ive tuned some boxes in my truck pretty low but they seem to fall flat for the lows . for some reason my truck doesnt respond well to them .

The response you get is determined by the airspace you have.

If you give a 4th order the correct amount of rear airspace, the size of the front chamber and it's porting will determine if the sound will be smooth like a sealed enclosure or peaky like and SPL designed ported box.
