Default Areo Port noise!

So i built a box for my two 10" LA storms. The box size after displacement is 2.5 and suppose to be tuned to 32 hz. I have two 3x12" in length areo ports with exiting flare on it but not the entering flare on it for inside the box (no room). Now on some notes i get alot of port noise, does this mean i need more port area?

thanks

I'd say you were a little short on port area. Especially without the other flare. You can get away with less port by using aeros because they are more efficient, but you are killing that efficiency by not utilizing both flares. Can you port externally so that you can fit the flares in there?

Reason i don't have end fare on is it wont fit on the inside of the box, my box is for under my rear seat. It starts to tapper down in the back. i could possible to to add 90's but idk how that would work.

Do you have 3" from the rear of the.box to the rear of the port? That could affect it. And your low on port area.
Your getting more turbulence near Fb (box tuning)?
Your box looks very nice though, what subs are you using?

Why not buy corner knuckles and extend the port sideways which will allow to add the end flare

I've used 90s on 3'' aeroports before. Go up to home depot or whatever store you have near you and buy some 3'' pvc 90s and some abs glue. It comes with a brush, apply it to the outside of the aero tube and the inside of the 90 and let it set. You'll be good to go. The 90 is probably $3 buck a pop, abs glue might be around $5.

Just pull the ports out of the box unitl you have enough room to fit the flares. Or do you not want to go external at all?

Your getting noise cause of the sharp edge of the port tube. You can make a small flare to help or bend the tube till you can fit the full flare on the inside.
