Default tuning help.

This is for a 4th order bandpass.

Ported chamber is 24cu.ft

Port mouth is 46.50wide, and 8.75 tall.

Need to know what tune I would get with a port thats 7.75 inches deep?

Also, what about 8in, and 7in.

Thanks.

PS - Port is external so no need to worry about port displacement.

The ported chamber tunes the same as a regular ported enclosure...

7= 44hz
7.75 = 43.5hz
8=43hz
you have 406.88 port area &that 16.96 per cu.ft.
you may want to try 46.5 x 8.25 that will give 383.63 of port area & that is 15.99 per cu.ft.
You want to stay between 12 -16 per cu.ft
7=43.15
7.75=42.47hz
8=42.25hz

I always heard in a bandpass you want more like 16-20per cu.ft.

What about a 6, and 5in port depth?
