Default plytanium plywood compared to birch ply?

if i doubled this up all around my box, would it give me the strength i need??...i was reading that birch ply is 8x stonger than mdf and i wasnt sure wat the difference is between birch ply and plytanium ply?

I would highly advise against using that.

doubling it up all the way around would give 3/4"

MDF is more dense, stronger, and will provide better dampening than regular plywood like you mentioned.

ya the plytanium i thought was different...i kno birch ply is stonger than mdf and thats wat i want but i dk where to get it...or even if i went with mdf, i herd home depot/lowes wood sucks

Lowes should have 11ply birch, that's where I buy mine. Home Depot has 7ply, but it's not as strong, so I avoid using it.

I've built a LOT of boxes/walls using the 11ply and have never had a problem. Not sure why it would be garbage. No it's not void free like marine grade, but for the freqs a sub plays that's not an issue.
